Senior Back-End Engineer, Institutional OTC at Blockchain.com

Blockchain, the leading software platform for digital assets, is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to join its Institutional team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking team player with a desire to learn and grow within a high-performance culture, delivering tangible results and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Build low latency, scalable, and highly performant trading services in RUST, including Order Management System (OMS), exchange gateways, and risk management systems.
• Enhance and maintain OMS functionality.
• Participate in a fast-paced engineering team, improving cutting-edge systems.
• Contribute to building cryptocurrency exchange services and architecture.
• Utilize low latency, high throughput techniques and algorithms.
• Ensure security by employing advanced encryption schemes.
• Collaborate with other tech teams to improve performance.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in C++ and/or Rust
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience in multithreading, network programming, and performance tuning
• Interest in delivering high-quality software with testing embedded in the development process
• Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS), exchange gateway connectivity and market data ingestion
• Basic understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, and distributed systems
