Financial Controller

Job Description

Blockchain.com, a leading software platform for digital assets, is seeking a Financial Controller in London. The Financial Controller will help build accounting infrastructure and processes to support company growth. This role reports to Senior Controllers and Accounting Leadership.

• Assist in all things finance, including managing the month-end close process and drafting accounting policy.
• Manage and develop senior accountants.
• Oversee bank accounts and cryptocurrency wallets.
• Prepare month-end variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead year-end audit work.
• Review reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Work collaboratively across departments.
• Respond to ad hoc requests.

• Integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• 5-10 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, Trovata, FloQast).
• Crypto industry interest.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Adaptability.
