Senior Associate, Options Trading Support

Blockchain.com is seeking a technically skilled Senior Associate for their Middle Office – Options team in London. This role is crucial for managing operational risk and ensuring trade integrity within the company's growing options business, with a secondary focus on DeFi. The ideal candidate will possess a junior quant mindset and be proficient in Python and SQL.This person will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining automated reconciliation tools.
• Designing and implementing risk and P&L attribution frameworks.
• Working directly with traders and quants to monitor margin utilization.
• Acting as a technical operations liaison with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams.
• Developing monitoring scripts, dashboards, and alerts.
• Assisting with the structured product lifecycle.
• Staying on top of evolving options market structure.

Requirements include:

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in financial operations, quantitative middle office, or derivatives support.
• Fluency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with pandas, NumPy, Jupyter, and automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of options pricing, margining methodologies and exposure calculations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
