Associate/Officer, Artist Management - RCA at Sony Music Careers - Asia & Middle East

Sony Music is seeking an Associate/Officer to join their Artist Management team in Shanghai. This role involves managing and operating tasks, facilitating team coordination, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines and KPIs. Sony Music needs someone to help develop existing SMEC artists and cultivate rising talent.

The Role Involves:

• Daily artist relationship management
• Artist growth planning
• Promotion opportunity creation
• Income generation
• Resource integration
• Execution, evaluation, and reporting
• Assisting with music, marketing, and promotion
• Monitoring statistics to ensure quality and results
• Daily job execution, negotiation, and idea generation
• Online and offline artist brand enhancement
• Goal setting
• Identifying and developing potential business partners
• Providing updates on market trends and local policies
• Building and maintaining relationships with media and other business partners
• Keeping up-to-date with market technology, artist-related policies, and new channels

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive artist management experience
• Experience working with artists from debut to superstar level
• Knowledge of music streaming and DSP promotion methods
• Experience in creating hit songs (preferred)
• Strong relationships within the local entertainment industry
• Thorough understanding of the music and entertainment marketplace
• Solid understanding of lifestyle verticals and local entertainment culture
• Social media proficiency (Douyin, Weibo, WeChat, Bilibili, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Data gathering and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and stress management abilities
• Passion for music, especially Pop and Urban genres
