Job Description
iCapital is seeking an Alternative Investment Specialist to support new offerings focused on accredited investors. This role involves raising capital in partnership with iCapital’s Alternatives Distribution team and asset managers, targeting independent broker dealers, registered investment advisors, private banks, and wire-houses.Responsibilities include:
- Executing a capital raising plan for the assigned geography.
- Educating advisors on asset classes and new offerings.
- Guiding marketing and research teams to create collateral and support campaigns.
- Becoming proficient in all aspects of the product(s) and sub strategies.
- Attending industry conferences and meeting with clients and prospects.
Qualifications include:
- 10-15+ years of experience in the alternative investment industry.
- Willingness to work on a commissioned-based sales plan.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with initiative and quick learning ability.
- Strong commitment to professional development.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required.
- Obtain CAIA within 2-3 years of hire.
