Manual QA Engineer at Fluxon

Fluxon is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join their product development team. The company, founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders, offers full-cycle software development and partners with visionary companies. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Portugal, preferably Lisbon.

The Manual QA Engineer will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing testing, and tracking quality initiatives. They will also engage with clients to understand requirements and debug complex issues.

Responsibilities:

• Define end-to-end test strategy and processes for entire products
• Plan and execute testing for quality and conformance to specifications
• Assist project teams by tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality initiatives
• Investigate product quality issues and work collaboratively towards resolution
• Evangelize QA best practices within teams and with clients
• Engage directly with clients to understand requirements
• Learn fast while working independently and reliably

Requirements:

• Experienced QA engineer generalist with a dedication to product quality
• 3+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications, as well as APIs
• 2+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch
• Strong understanding of client - server architecture
• Strong understanding of testing theory and SDLC
• Basic understanding of CI/CD
• Basic understanding of networking stack
• Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English
• Basic scripting experience
• Pro-active personality
• Familiarity with task estimation
