Job Description

Fluxon, founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders, is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join their product development team. Fluxon offers full-cycle software development and partners with visionary companies to transform bold ideas into products.

The Manual QA Engineer will design and implement testing processes across diverse applications, collaborating with a team that values innovation and continuous growth.

Responsibilities:

• Defining end-to-end test strategy and processes for entire products.
• Planning and executing testing for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Assisting project teams by tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality initiatives.
• Investigating reports of product quality issues and working collaboratively towards resolution.
• Being the product's quality champion and evangelising QA best practices.
• Engaging directly with clients to understand requirements and debug complex issues.
• Learning fast while working independently and reliably.

Requirements:

• Experienced QA engineer generalist with a dedication to product quality.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications, as well as APIs.
• 3+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and testing theory.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and networking stack.
• Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English.
• Basic scripting experience.
• Pro-active personality with a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with task estimation.
