Underwriter - Binding P&C

Job Description

Jencap Insurance Services is seeking a New Business Underwriter/Producer to focus on new business development, including marketing, managing, and retaining a growing book of business. The role involves building relationships with clients and providing responsive service.Responsibilities:

• Developing and presenting proposals
• Negotiating and executing production goals
• Developing prospects through solicitation and marketing
• Securing information and presenting proposals
• Coordinating and processing new business
• Documenting conversations and materials
• Assisting in resolving coverage issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of underwriting, broker, or senior underwriting experience
• Experience with multi-line binding, packaged & monoline policies, P&C, Transportation, and Garage
• Experience in new business development
• Willingness to travel
• Maintain state-issued P&C license
