2025 Point72 Academy Insight Week Program (For Domestic Japanese University Students) at Point72

Point72 is offering a one-week shadowing program designed to expose undergraduate students to careers in investing. The Point72 Academy Insight Program is for students graduating between December 2025 and September 2027.

During this in-person program at Point72's Tokyo office, participants will learn about financial markets and the work of Academy professionals. They’ll experience the Point72 work environment, learn business fundamentals, and gain insights into the life of an Academy Associate. Management members will provide insights and industry knowledge.

Point72 values diverse perspectives and invests in its employees, offering resources and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

The role involves:

• Interacting with Point72 professionals to understand the role of an investment analyst.
• Observing Academy teaching sessions and discussing insights with a Point72 Academy Coach.
• Participating in interactive learning sessions and skills workshops to discover potential career paths.
• Networking with other students interested in finance.

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a university or graduate school in Japan.
• High proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Fascination with research and problem-solving.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
• High self-motivation to explore a career in finance.
• Availability to participate in-person in Tokyo from September 1 to 5, 2025.

What the role offers:

• Point72 will cover reasonable travel for students at universities located outside of Tokyo.
