Global Fishing Watch is seeking a Senior Manager to bolster its Ocean Policy & Transparency efforts in Latin America. This role is pivotal in advancing ocean governance by embedding transparency into ocean regulations and making data actionable against illegal fishing and biodiversity loss.
- Monitoring national and international policy developments.
- Drafting policy recommendations for fisheries and biodiversity.
- Providing technical advice and support for interventions.
- Overseeing Country Officers in Latin America.
- Drafting progress reports to funders.
Requirements: - Master's Degree in public administration or policy.
- 7+ years of experience in policy work.
- Familiarity with fisheries management, marine biodiversity, or ocean governance.
- Native Spanish and proficient in English.
Global Fishing Watch offers: - A compensation range for employees based in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil: USD 40-45 per hour.
