Global Fishing Watch is seeking a Senior Manager to bolster its Ocean Policy & Transparency efforts in Latin America. This role is pivotal in advancing ocean governance by embedding transparency into ocean regulations and making data actionable against illegal fishing and biodiversity loss.
  • Monitoring national and international policy developments.
  • Drafting policy recommendations for fisheries and biodiversity.
  • Providing technical advice and support for interventions.
  • Overseeing Country Officers in Latin America.
  • Drafting progress reports to funders.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in public administration or policy.
  • 7+ years of experience in policy work.
  • Familiarity with fisheries management, marine biodiversity, or ocean governance.
  • Native Spanish and proficient in English.
