Job Description
Gotion Inc. is seeking a Customer Audit Engineer to lead customer factory audit preparations and manage the end-to-end audit process. The Customer Audit Engineer will be responsible for leading customer factory audit preparations, managing the end-to-end audit process, and ensuring closure of findings. This role will also oversee internal process audits (e.g., VDA 6.3), working cross-functionally to implement improvements, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Role involves:
  • Leading the preparation, execution, and follow-up for customer factory audits.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for customer audit teams.
  • Conducting risk identification and self-assessments.
  • Developing and tracking action plans for addressing audit findings.
  • Developing, planning, and executing internal process audits based on industry standards.
  • Creating audit checklists and conducting process audits on production lines.
  • Documenting audit findings, generating reports, and driving root cause analysis.
  • Leading corrective and preventive action implementation.
  • Organizing and presenting audit performance data through visual reporting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality audits, customer audits, or process audits within a manufacturing environment (battery, automotive, or electronics preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer audit requirements.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits, including risk assessments and compliance tracking.
  • Proficiency in audit documentation, data collection, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
