EHS Specialist

Job Description

Gotion Inc., a company focused on electric vehicle and energy storage technologies, is seeking an EHS Specialist for their Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. The EHS Specialist will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and compliance with regulations.

Role involves:
• Supporting EHS programs.
• Conducting hazard assessments.
• Investigating incidents.
• Delivering safety training.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supporting environmental compliance.
• Participating in emergency response.
• Analyzing EHS data.
• Conducting safety audits.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Experience in conducting hazard assessments, risk analyses, and incident investigations.
• Strong understanding of EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The role offers:
• Base salary range for this full-time position is $85k - $100k + 15% bonus + benefits
