iCapital is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join their EMEA team in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events and managing regional third-party sponsorships that support iCapital’s business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing proprietary and third-party events and a deep understanding of the financial services industry. The Event Manager will work closely with the headquarter-based events team in the U.S.Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including conferences, seminars, and corporate meetings, ensuring alignment with iCapital’s business goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and executive teams, to develop event strategies and objectives.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, sponsors, and vendors.
- Create and implement marketing and promotional plans to drive event attendance and engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate event performance, providing post-event analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure successful event execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in event management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Cultural awareness and experience working with a global audience.
- Fluent in English and preferably German, additional languages are a plus
- The flexibility to work remotely one day (Friday).
