Elite Technology is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to optimize cloud financial management. The analyst will work within the Cloud Operations team to improve cost visibility and drive efficiency across the cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with engineering, finance, and operations teams to implement FinOps best practices and manage cloud costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
What this role involves:
- Monitoring and analyzing cloud spend (Azure) for cost-saving opportunities.
- Developing and enforcing FinOps best practices.
- Collaborating with finance teams for cloud cost forecasts and budgets.
- Implementing cost allocation models.
- Working with cloud providers to optimize enterprise agreements.
- Building dashboards and automated reports using Power BI.
- Partnering with engineering, DevOps, finance, and product teams.
- Establishing governance policies for cost optimization.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud financial management, FinOps, or FP&A.
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in Azure Cost Management and FinOps tools.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for cloud costs.
- Expertise in Excel, SQL, Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or other relevant certifications are a plus.
