HR Business Partner - Assistant Vice President at iCapital

iCapital is seeking a HR Business Partner to help manage their Asia expansion. iCapital's financial technology platform is transforming how advisors, wealth management firms, asset managers, and banks evaluate and recommend bespoke public and private market strategies for their high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will be one of the first points of contact in APAC throughout the employee lifecycle and will deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support on HR services, such as performance review, employee engagement, data analytics and DEI activities.
• Support managers and employees to drive alignment with company policy, best practice, and current legislation.
• Act as the liaison between employees and Benefit team.
• Coordinate with immigration counsel to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Keep abreast of in-country regulations and trends pertaining to APAC employment matters.
• Work closely with the finance and payroll teams to manage external payroll providers.
• Assist and support recruitment activities as and when needed.
• Contribute to the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• 6-8+ years’ experience in Human Resources as Business Partner.
• Knowledge of APAC labor law and regulations.
• Understanding of talent market in Finance, and/or Fintech spaces.
• Hands-on mentality and the desire to constantly learn and grow.
• Experience working for a global and matrixed organization.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills across all levels.
• Passion for customer service and creating an amazing experience for every employee.
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism and ethics.
• Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems, compensation planning systems, and MS office tools.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English required– both written and verbal.
