Software Engineer, Customer Studio Backend

Job Description

Hightouch is seeking a product-minded Backend Engineer to join their Customer Studio team. This role will focus on building upon Reverse ETL’s ability to use SQL to sync to any SaaS tool, Customer Studio is Hightouch’s second major product that provides a purpose-built no-code suite of features. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving into backend and distributed systems while considering architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. They should also demonstrate strong customer and product thinking and feel comfortable writing and engaging with product specs.Role involves:

• Optimizing data warehouse performance.
• Building segments and deciding what data to sync.
• Facilitating experimentation to downstream tools.
• Exploring real-time audience computation and syncing.
• Working on making the user experience of acting on data more seamless.
