Job Description

Tide is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join their team in Romania. The ideal candidate will possess excellent programming skills and a passion for developing and improving applications. This role involves working within an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional squads, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Tide's product.

As a Senior Python Engineer at Tide, the candidate will report to the Staff Engineer and work in a team of highly skilled Engineers.

Role involves:

  • Defining, owning, and maintaining services within Tide's service catalog.
  • Collaborating with the product team to select technology partners.
  • Working with backend engineers to align team vision and ensure the success of complex initiatives.
  • Translating requirements into well-engineered solutions.
  • Contributing to Tide's Community of Practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Python Developer.
  • Basic understanding of software engineering fundamentals (SOLID, ACID, Testing).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask.
  • Experience integrating with or creating REST APIs (Desirable).
  • Experience working with event-driven microservices or message queues (Desirable).
  • Understanding of Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience working in Scrum and following Agile development practices.
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
