Job Description
Flipp is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a 12-month contract position. Flipp partners with major North American retailers, providing local promotions to shoppers to help them make smart shopping decisions.
The Technical Program Manager will work on multifaceted projects involving various products, services, and teams. The role focuses on improving productivity and ensuring quality across cross-functional teams. He/she will be managing project schedules, spotting potential risks, and spearheading technical discussions with engineers. This person will improve and implement processes to streamline workflows, build strong relationships with stakeholders, inspire others with a clear vision, and use data to inform decision-making.
What this role involves:
- Connecting program initiatives with business goals to maximize value.
- Defining program scope, objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring accountability and timeline management.
- Leading the development and implementation of programs, products, and services.
- Championing best practices and driving continuous process improvements.
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive product innovation.
- Maintaining effective communication channels and providing regular updates to leadership.
- Aligning with finance and engineering leaders to prioritize resources.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical program or product management experience.
- Experience in managing programs across multiple teams.
- Experience building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Software development experience (highly preferred).
- PMP or relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
