Senior Backend Engineer (Contract) at Panther

Panther labs is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Ingestion team on a contract basis, with potential for full-time employment. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data ingestion capabilities. The role involves working within a modern cloud architecture using Go microservices in AWS, focusing on making data onboarding seamless.

• Building new customer-facing product features.
• Addressing bug fixes, reviewing work, and providing constructive feedback within Panther’s codebase.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Working independently and in small teams.

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Experience writing backend code for customer-facing product features.
• Experience coding in Golang at a production level.
• Experience partnering with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications, preferably AWS.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, collaborate effectively, and communicate effectively.
• Experience working on highly scalable systems and frameworks.
