Senior Medical Advisor (3 month contract)

Job Description

Flo, a leading female health app with over 75 million monthly users, is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor for a 3-month contract. The company is dedicated to building a better future for female health through AI-powered, privacy-first, and clinically backed solutions.This role involves ensuring medical accuracy and safety across the app, including chatbot responses and AI-generated content. The Medical Advisor will collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to refine medical information and align it with clinical guidelines.Responsibilities:

• Performing medical reviews of chatbot responses and educational content.
• Supporting the development of optimization strategies for AI use.
• Providing clinical expertise for digital health initiatives.
• Assessing and suggesting amendments to AI processes based on medical guidelines.
• Supporting the development of new features by gathering medical research.
• Working closely with Flo’s Expert Board to peer-review medical content.
• Attending team meetings and stand-ups.
• Using tools such as Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace.

Requirements:

• Medical degree.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in women’s health (GP or OBGYN).
• Advanced English (C2 - written and spoken).
