Software Engineer I at Alarm.com

EBS (part of Alarm.com), a rapidly expanding entrepreneurial technology company, is looking for a Software Engineer I to join their Video Engineering team in Krakow. The successful candidate will contribute to making their video monitoring solution the best in class.

The role involves working across various technical areas using the latest technologies, employing agile development methods. Alarm.com values in-person collaboration and teamwork, with employees primarily working from the office and occasional remote work possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and testing new software features.
• Innovating and improving existing products.
• Analyzing functional requirements and product specifications.
• Assisting with researching, adopting, and integrating new technologies.
• Taking ownership of projects to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance to develop test plans.

Requirements:

• 0+ years of experience in Software Development
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program with strong academic performance
• English proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Self-starter, analytical, and tenacious problem-solver
• Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
• Proven team experience and comfort in a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high quality consumer technology products
