Engineering Manager, Mobile

Job Description

Airtable is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its mobile teams. The Engineering Manager will drive strategy, planning, and execution for iOS and Android engineering teams. They will cultivate a safe and inclusive team culture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with senior engineers. The role involves collaborating across functions with engineering, product, design, and sales teams.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to amplify their contributions, and coach and develop early-career engineers
• Apply your technical expertise to collaborate with engineers in designing and constructing products in a high-quality and sustainable manner
• Collaborate across functions with engineering, product, design, and sales teams to ensure a seamless cross-platform experience for our customers
• Implement streamlined processes to facilitate team scalability and productivity, while maintaining agility to adapt to our dynamic environment

Requirements:

• Experience leading teams in developing mission-critical product features and systems with a strong emphasis on quality
• Experience in leading product definition, managing trade-offs, and driving customer adoption
• Experience in managing and developing mid-level, senior, and staff engineers
• At least 5 years of experience as an engineer and at least 2 years as a manager, or a similar combination
• Experience in mobile app development and/or leading mobile teams is preferred
