Chainguard is seeking a highly motivated Public Sector Account Executive with strong Federal knowledge to build relationships with key decision-makers and promote Secure Software Supply Chains. As a founding member of the Public Sector team, the Account Executive will play a crucial role in establishing a presence within Federal customer accounts. This role offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about business ownership, customer experience, and the Federal mission.
What this role involves:
- Define and execute account plans for DOD specific accounts
- Drive the adoption of Chainguard Images to new customers
- Evangelize the value proposition and ROI to prospects and leads
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor within a government program
- Champion offerings with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal business functions
- Leverage community, partner ecosystems, and marketing
- Forecast accurately to meet and exceed quota
- Manage business and track opportunities in SFDC
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Enterprise Sales Experience in Federal
- Competitive, driven, and a team player
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to travel to clients (25%)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic
