Altium is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to enhance its products. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing rendering systems for real-time applications. They will also develop algorithms and provide support for existing source code. Altium transforms the way electronics are designed and built. The role involves:

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing rendering systems for real-time applications
  • Developing algorithms and specifications
  • Supporting existing source code

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, HLSL, and GLSL
  • Experience with DirectX 11/12 and OpenGL/WebGL
  • Understanding of real-time rendering techniques and GPU architectures
  • Strong mathematical skills (linear algebra, vector math, transformations)
  • Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools
  • Ability to write efficient, compact, and cross-platform code
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Expertise in modular design
  • Effective communication skills in English
