Altium is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join their Altium 365 - R&D team. This role is crucial for optimizing and enhancing the performance of complex cloud applications. The Systems Engineer will define technical strategies for the infrastructure, ensuring resilience and scalability, and will address complex system challenges independently or collaboratively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading system optimization efforts.
  • Addressing system improvements.
  • Prioritizing performance excellence.
  • Maintaining a holistic systems perspective.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role (SRE, DevOps, etc.) in cloud-based application development.
  • Experience in system design and architecture principles (e.g., microservices, caching strategies, load balancing).
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in web application development.
  • Fluency in English.
