Job Description
AXS Germany, a subsidiary of AEG, is seeking a Field IT Technician to join their expanding operations in Hamburg. This role is crucial for managing internal and client-facing systems and hardware, ensuring their optimal functionality. The Field IT Technician will collaborate with the European IT setup, providing technical support to a diverse group of individuals across a broad geographical area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for IT, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.He/She will be responsible for:
  • Installation, repair, and maintenance of AXS equipment at client venue sites in Germany
  • Serving as the primary technical contact for the client services team
  • Maintaining the central device management system for AXS equipment
  • Maintaining accurate asset tracking records
  • Ensuring systems comply with AXS IT security policies
  • Assisting with internal corporate IT activities
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Self-motivation and proactivity
  • Experience in end-user desktop support for Windows and MacOS
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
  • Solid computer networking skills
  • Familiarity with Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, and Meraki equipment (desirable)
  • Fluent in German and English
