OpenTable is seeking an Account Executive to expand its network of restaurant partners in Frankfurt, Germany. The Account Executive will use a consultative sales approach to bring new restaurants onto OpenTable's dining platform. This role is crucial for driving revenue and enhancing restaurant revenue potential.

The Account Executive will be responsible for targeting, identifying, and approaching prospective restaurant customers within an assigned territory, aiming to sell OpenTable products. They will champion and build upon existing relationships with top and elite restaurants, serving as a trusted advisor and driving revenue by connecting with restaurateurs, fostering opportunities that will benefit all parties.

In this role, the candidate will:

  • Target, identify and approach prospective restaurant customers within an assigned territory
  • Champion and build upon existing relationships with top and elite restaurants
  • Provide data-driven in-person and online demos of OpenTable products
  • Drive revenue by connecting with restaurateurs
  • Generate business and strategic plans to define selling strategies and tactics
  • Consistently over achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets
  • Utilise customers’ experience to continually evolve the sales process and product
  • Provide and present customer feedback to the Product and Marketing teams
  • Utilise Salesforce to own your territory, stay organised, forecast sales activity, and process contracts
  • Maintain enhanced product knowledge and expert data tools knowledge
  • Be visible in and amongst the hospitality industry through networking, events and consistent engagement

Requirements for the role include:

  • Demonstrated ability in B2B Enterprise sales
  • High-reaching, tenacious and goal-oriented professional
  • Well-honed discovery skills
  • Passion for hospitality and technology
  • Skilled at communicating new points of view to customers
  • Outstanding negotiating skills
  • Passionate about using data and analytics to advise decision-making
  • Strong time management and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of Google Suite and Salesforce CRM
  • Detailed, team-orientated sales person who loves to collaborate and grow through learning and feedback
  • Ability to work in an unstructured and forward-thinking environment
  • College degree required
  • Native German speaker and proficient in English
