OKX is seeking a Staff/Senior Data Security and Governance Engineer to join their Technology Governance & Compliance team. This role is crucial for maturing security programs globally and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The engineer will analyze security gaps, develop remediation plans, and coordinate with departments to implement necessary fixes. Role Involves:
- Analyzing and assessing security and compliance gaps.
- Developing and executing remediation plans.
- Coordinating with departments for problem fixes and governance measures.
- Conducting IT security and architecture governance.
- Tracking remediation progress and reporting to management.
- Developing and refining IT governance policies and procedures.
- Communicating with external auditors and regulators.
- Monitoring security compliance status and proposing improvements.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT audit, risk management, compliance, and security governance.
- In-depth understanding of audit standards like ISO 27001, COBIT, SOC2, SOC1, PCI-DSS, and NIST.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR.
- Excellent project management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT process governance and technology governance projects.
- Familiarity with risks and compliance requirements in large internet enterprises or blockchain companies.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of cyber security / cloud security / coding and related processes.
