Onsite Marketing Associate (Automotive Client)

Job Description

VML & Ogilvy Japan is seeking an Onsite Marketing Associate to support project management for a key automotive client in Tokyo. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in various aspects of project execution, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with internal creative teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in project execution for the automotive client.
• Supporting client relationship development.
• Collaborating with creative teams (design, copywriting, strategy, production).
• Assisting in developing project plans, including timelines and budgets.
• Helping manage project scope and identify potential risks.
• Tracking project progress and providing status updates.
• Assisting in facilitating client meetings and presentations.
• Ensuring deliverables are reviewed, approved and delivered on time.
• Managing project documentation and archiving.
• Identifying opportunities to improve project management processes.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends in the automotive sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in a support role, preferably within a creative agency.
• Strong interest in project management and the creative development process.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Passion for the automotive industry.
• Basic English communication skills (a plus).
• Proficiency in basic computer software.
