E2open is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team and provide technical support to customers. The Support Engineer will take ownership of technical issues, diagnose and investigate problems, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues. They will also document knowledge, build relationships with customers, and ensure KPIs are met.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of technical issues and seeing them through to resolution
  • Actively identifying incidents and managing the incident resolution process
  • Diagnosing, investigating, and identifying solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Following standard procedures for escalation
  • Providing prompt and accurate responses to customers
  • Documenting knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Liaising between cross-functional teams and customers
  • Building sustainable relationships with customers
  • Keeping records of customer interactions
  • Ensuring KPIs are met
  • Planning and deploying E2open standard solutions

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science /Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 0-1 years hands-on experience in SQL, Linux and other programming languages
  • Fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business process
  • Understanding of development methodologies, version control and configuration management
  • Knowledge and experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL and JDBC
  • Experience with JBoss/Tomcat or other web servers preferred
  • Logical approach and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
