Learning Experience Design Specialist

Job Description

Educate! is seeking a Learning Experience Design Specialist to join their Out-of-School Youth (OoSY) product team in Uganda. The role focuses on creating transformative learning experiences for out-of-school youth, especially young women in rural areas. The Learning Experience Design Specialist will refine learning experiences within Educate!'s OoSY products, ensuring they are both impactful and scalable.

The specialist will work on identifying problems, ideating solutions, developing curriculum, and preparing training materials.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and researching problems affecting the learning experience.
• Ideating and testing learning experience solutions.
• Developing curricula, training, and assessment materials.
• Preparing training materials for trainers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Social Science, Adult Education, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, human-centered design, or training design.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
