Director of Financial Reporting & Control

Job Description

Tide is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting & Control to lead the financial controllership of the Tide Group. This role involves building robust financial control processes, strengthening the internal control framework, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Director will manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, collaborate with internal departments, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Building robust financial control processes and strengthening internal control framework
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and outsourced accounting providers
• Collaborating with other departments on tax and accounting matters
• Regular reporting of financial performance, financial risk, financial control, taxation, ESG and other topical matters to the Finance & Audit Committee

The ideal candidate should have:

• Senior Financial Leadership experience managing financial control in complex, multi-country, multi-entity organizations
• Proven track record in financial services or technology
• Strong financial acumen and technical accounting skills (IFRS/UK GAAP)
• ACA or equivalent professional finance qualification
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 20+ staff
