Job Description

SurveyMonkey is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Design (Growth and Operations) to lead and shape the platform's growth, billing, and personalization experience strategy. This role involves managing a team of designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered designs.

The Senior Manager will play a player-coach role, providing hands-on design expertise and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of product designers.
• Design Strategy: Lead the design vision for complex platforms.
• Product Design: Oversee product design for B2B2C SaaS platforms.
• Design Operations Strategy & Execution: Streamline processes and workflows.
• Mentorship & Development: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level designers.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and marketers.
• Data-Driven Design: Use data and analytics to inform design decisions.
• Designing for Growth: Bring expertise in designing for growth.
• Personalization: Leverage personalization strategies to create tailored experiences.
• Storytelling: Use strong storytelling skills to communicate design decisions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in product design, with 5-8 years in managing design teams.
• Design Leadership: Experience in leading product design teams.
• B2B2C SaaS: Extensive experience designing for B2B2C SaaS platforms.
• Player-Coach Mentality: Comfortable in a hands-on design role.
• Design Operations: Experience leading and optimizing design operations.
• Mentorship & Talent Development: Strong background in mentoring designers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Storytelling & Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Data-Driven Design: Comfort with using data and analytics.
