Vercel is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to its customers, focusing on resolving issues, enhancing internal tooling, and creating solutions to optimize customer experiences with the Vercel platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, a background in frontend development, and a passion for problem-solving.Responsibilities include:
- Solving complex cases for Vercel customers.
- Troubleshooting customer issues with the engineering team.
- Collaborating with Vercel teams to offer internal and external advice.
- Developing and improving internal tools.
- Specializing in product areas and managing them within the team.
- Enhancing internal documentation, processes, and policies.
- Assisting Customer Success Managers with Enterprise requests.
- Frontend development experience with Next.js.
- Understanding of modern web architecture, frontend frameworks like React, cloud technologies, serverless computing, and DNS.
- Experience engineering solutions for recurring issues.
- Experience with incident management and procedural communication.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Availability for weekend and on-call work.
- 3+ years of experience in technical support.
