Job Description

Vercel is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions and product strategies. The analyst will collaborate across teams, working closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate complex data into meaningful narratives and self-service tools.Role involves:

• Shaping strategic insights by establishing key metrics and building dynamic visualizations.
• Driving operational efficiency through the development of metrics and self-service tools.
• Identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their goals and provide data-driven solutions.
• Building product analytics models using proprietary Vercel data.
• Prototyping and innovating dashboards and data tools.
• Supporting data accessibility across all teams.
• Influencing the data roadmap.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• SQL proficiency and experience analyzing datasets.
• Familiarity with applied statistics and scripting languages (Python or R).
• Experience with ELT data modeling (dbt) and BI tools (Hashboard, Looker, Omni).
• Strong executive communication skills.
