Director of Engineering

Job Description

Inbank is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and mentor a diverse team of 80+ engineers. The Director will be responsible for managing engineering teams and ensuring that quality and velocity standards and goals are met. He/she will work directly with the CPTO on technical vision and architecture while collaborating with teams across the company to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products. He/she will play a critical role in scaling Inbank's platform and ensuring that our products meet the highest security standards while maintaining ease of use for our customers.

What will you be doing:

• Promoting platform as the driving force of the business
• Coaching teams to leverage technology-driven opportunities
• Leading Engineering Managers
• Driving architectural decisions
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects
• Collaborating with product, engineering, and design roles
• Influencing best practices
• Collaborating with senior leadership to define the technical roadmap
• Playing a key role in the hiring process

Requirements:

• Strong proven technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture, and engineering practices
• Track record in a similar senior-level engineering leadership position in a product company
• Ability to coordinate complex technical projects that span multiple teams
• Ability to transform data and metrics into strategic insights
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills
• High level of written and verbal English communication skills
