Job Description

Vercel is seeking a growth-focused Fullstack Engineer to enhance user acquisition, conversion, and retention through high-performance web experiences. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product design, to build dynamic pages, conduct A/B tests, and optimize conversion funnels. This role involves designing and developing scalable features, integrating feedback loops, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring the reliability of the acquisition funnel.

The Fullstack Engineer will contribute to establishing Vercel as a gold standard for brand and product marketing. They will continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO principles and a knack for delivering exceptional user experiences.

What this role involves:

  • Leading complex frontend projects.
  • Collaborating with growth and marketing teams for A/B testing.
  • Designing and implementing scalable applications and APIs.
  • Contributing to the design system and upholding UX standards.
  • Improving engineering processes and tools.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
  • Writing technical documents and maintaining internal tools.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on contributions from other engineers.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing for conversion, speed, and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience (React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, or similar).
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
  • Full stack experience (comfortable designing or consuming APIs and working with various services).
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Proven knowledge of A/B testing concepts and conversion rate optimization.
  • Stellar cross-functional communication skills.
  • Eye for good user experiences.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
