Job Description
The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) needs a Country Delivery Lead for Brazil. This role focuses on structuring energy projects and maintaining strategic alliances within Brazil's governmental energy programs.
The Country Delivery Lead will be responsible for:
- Creating and executing a country strategy that aligns with GEAPP’s global objectives.
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders includes government agencies, utilities and other private sector leaders, financial institutions, international donors, and NGOs
- Designing of energy access projects and providing expert technical support.
- Cultivating relationships with government agencies, private sector leaders, financial institutions, international donors, and NGOs.
- Supporting GEAPP’s strategic objectives at COP30 and other events in the country
Requirements for the role include:
- Strong network in the energy sector in Brazil including, among others, government, civil society, and electricity distribution utilities.
- An advanced degree in economics, development, engineering, energy or related fields.
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience, including in senior roles overseeing design & delivery teams, coordinating partners, and driving strategy.
- Proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, more than 50% of the time.
