Vercel is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team and help grow their global footprint. The SRE will report to the Director of Managed Infrastructure and play a foundational role in expanding Vercel's SRE practice. This role focuses on enhancing Vercel's Compute infrastructure in partnership with a EU-based developer team.What the role involves:
  • Ensuring products are built for reliability and scale.
  • Driving risk mitigation and reduction.
  • Improving system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Devising repeatable, low-toil operational practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of SRE experience or 5 years in a related role.
  • Strong understanding of SRE principles.
  • Accountability and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to engage with development teams.
  • Ability to manage risk and make sound judgments.
  • Experience with distributed system design.
  • Experience with Containers, Virtual Machines, and Linux.
  • Experience with Terraform and/or Golang is a bonus.
