Vercel is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team and help grow their global footprint. The SRE will report to the Director of Managed Infrastructure and play a foundational role in expanding Vercel's SRE practice. This role focuses on enhancing Vercel's Compute infrastructure in partnership with a EU-based developer team.What the role involves:
- Ensuring products are built for reliability and scale.
- Driving risk mitigation and reduction.
- Improving system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
- Devising repeatable, low-toil operational practices.
- At least 3 years of SRE experience or 5 years in a related role.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles.
- Accountability and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to engage with development teams.
- Ability to manage risk and make sound judgments.
- Experience with distributed system design.
- Experience with Containers, Virtual Machines, and Linux.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Golang is a bonus.
