OKX is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join its Liquidity Platform team in Hong Kong. This role is focused on delta-one strategy development using in-house tools, offering exposure to both crypto strategy design and trading system development. The engineer will collaborate with a professional team with strong Crypto/TradFi trading experience to deliver key features.
The engineer will work closely with technical leads, liquidity managers, and product managers on strategy discussion and technical solution design.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, auto-test, and deploy liquidity strategies.
- Collaborate to maintain the strategy production environment, focusing on feature development and infrastructure improvements.
- Continuously enhance strategies for stability, scalability, and resilience, ensuring auto-recovery for 24/7 crypto trading.
- Manage projects by understanding the technical infrastructure and maintaining a holistic view of the product and business.
Requirements:
- Strong STEM education background.
- Proficiency in high-performance Java, with expertise in memory management and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with common middleware (Message Queue, RPC, cache, etc.).
- Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and financial trading products.
