The Financial Times is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Manila. This role supports smaller business units focused on Thought Leadership and Content Creation, reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner in the UK. The Management Accountant will provide key management accounting and finance support across all financial processes, reporting, and business modelling. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to gain experience working in a high-profile digital business that requires strong financial support in order to meet ambitious goals and targets.
  • Preparation of Weekly Sales reports and project profitability analysis
  • Month end processing and reporting of revenues and costs
  • Preparation of monthly revenue journals
  • Monthly headcount & payroll reconciliation
  • Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Support in preparing quarterly forecasts for revenue and costs
  • Support in preparing the monthly/quarterly commission pay-outs
  • Assistance with the raising and reconciliation of sales invoices
  • First point of contact for external audit queries
  • Distribute monthly expense trackers to budget owners
  • Maintenance of process documentation
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, or a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a relevant finance environment
  • Confident communicator
  • Intermediate level ability with MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
  • Demonstrable analytical skills
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated
