Senior Accountant at Vectra

Vectra is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding accounting team in India. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in the monthly close cycle, collaborating across teams to improve accounting processes and transition manual workflows to automated ones. The role involves reviewing financial metrics, analyzing data, and developing forecasts, reporting to the US-based Senior Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Detect and resolve data issues and reconciliation gaps.
• Perform various account analyses under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
• Support annual audit requirements for specific areas of responsibility.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather supporting documentation.
• Ensure SOX control performance and maintain documentation.
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience (U.S. GAAP experience is a plus).
• Fluent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience working for a U.S. publicly traded company is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Familiarity with month-end closing processes.
• Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
