BVNK is seeking a Global Events Manager to own the development and execution of the company’s global events strategy. This role reports to the SVP of Marketing and covers both external facing events and internal team events.BVNK unifies banks and blockchains in a single platform. With BVNK, businesses can send and receive stablecoin payments, convert between currencies, and add stablecoin payments to their checkout.Responsibilities:
- Contribute to creating and own the execution of a comprehensive events strategy.
- Own the events budget and forecasting.
- Develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms.
- Maintain the events calendar, collaborating with teams.
- Run event briefing kick-off meetings and post-event retros.
- Manage logistical, pre-planning aspects of events.
- Work with content and design teams to brief content and visual assets.
- Day-to-day management of events including being on-site where necessary.
- Identify growth opportunities and areas to improve the events strategy.
- Present ideas to the team.
- Analytics and reporting on event KPIs.
- Based in New York or New Jersey, USA.
- 5+ years of relevant experience planning global events across EMEA and USA.
- Minimum of 1 year in corporate events.
- Comfortable working with C-level stakeholders.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Exceptional organization skills & attention to detail.
- Negotiation skills and experience managing 3rd party vendors.
- Independent working and self-motivated.
- Ability to travel internationally (~20-25 days/year).
- Passion for events.
- Understanding of marketing and how events contribute.
- Strong knack for logistics.
- Experience with event production & branding.
- Experience in project management and leading events for a high-growth B2B company or startup.
- Knowledge of the tech/fintech event landscape.
