Partner Solutions Engineering, EMEA at Vercel

Vercel is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its partnerships team. The role involves driving strategic engagements with solution implementation and product partners to fuel Vercel's growth. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with partner managers, engineering teams, and product stakeholders, enabling partners on Vercel and Next.js best practices, implementing partner integrations, and supporting the development of top-tier frontend applications for Vercel's clientele. Technical expertise in web development, particularly in frontend technologies, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern application deployment, is essential.

What this role involves:

• Serving as a subject matter expert to Vercel’s strategic partners.
• Leading strategic partner engagements and projects.
• Collaborating with Vercel engineering and product teams.
• Creating and presenting technical enablement to partners.
• Collaborating closely with sales teams.
• Advising and support partner engineering teams.
• Auditing frontend applications.
• Building POCs that integrate and showcase Vercel and its partner ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Passion for building first-class user experiences on the web.
• Strong understanding of web architecture, frontend development, and serverless computing.
• 3+ years of experience as a solutions engineer.
• 5+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React.
• Results-driven mindset.
• Comfortable working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experienced with technical evangelism.
• Experience driving the adoption of web technology or previous pre-sales experience.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
