Job Description
Higher Ground Education is seeking a Regional Head of School to support 11 Guidepost Montessori and Academy of Thought and Industry campuses in South Texas. The Regional Head of School will be responsible for providing support to the entire region, which includes stepping into a campus for a 3-month full-time Head of School coverage to partnering with School Leaders to drive enrollment or make key hires. This role involves traveling and spending varying amounts of time on campuses throughout the region to provide the highest impact support.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing a strategic plan for the campus
  • Creating a strong culture that embodies the mission of the organization
  • Building a strong community among staff, parents, and children
  • Ensuring consistent high quality of the Montessori program within and across all grade levels
  • Ensuring overall profitability targets are met (including managing campus budget)
  • Working with the Assistant Head of School to ensure enrollment targets are met
  • Hiring, supporting, developing, and managing teaching staff
