Blockchain, a leading software platform for digital assets, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Buenos Aires. Reporting to the LatAm Controller, the Accountant will collaborate with the Global accounting team on various tasks, providing general accounting support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial & accounting data entry and maintain records.
- Execute month-end close activities.
- Support the preparation of regulatory filings.
- Complete local Argentina tax requirements.
- Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring adherence to policies.
- Generate, post, and reconcile payroll journals.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and corporate wallets.
- Reconcile other Balance Sheet accounts.
- Assist with statutory audits.
- Manage accounts payable, including processing, vendor management.
Requirements:
- Accounting degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of processing software such as Spreadsheets (Excel).
- Prior experience with ONVIO (Thomson Reuters) and NetSuite is an advantage.
- SIAP and AFIP/ARCA applications experience.
- Adapt to a fast-paced continuous learning environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and coordinate the efforts of others.
- Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English Level.
