Senior Network Engineer - APAC

Job Description

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join its Trading Systems Infrastructure team in India. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the network and data center infrastructure.Role responsibilities include:

• Optimizing network infrastructure for low-latency and high-performance trading environments
• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining networking hardware
• Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues
• Managing circuits and cross-connect installations
• Overseeing data center infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans
• Automating network and infrastructure management tasks
• Leading incident response efforts
• Collaborating with traders, developers, and system engineers

Role requirements include:

• Experience working in data centers
• Proven experience with network configuration and management in low-latency environments
• Hands-on experience with networking technologies and protocols
• Familiarity with ultra-low-latency networking
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Strong knowledge of financial exchange connectivity, market data feeds, and colocation environments
• Experience with India Financial Exchanges such as NSE and BSE is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
