Software Engineer II - Security Analyst Experience at Referral Board

Elastic, also known as the Search AI Company, is seeking a Software Engineer II - Security Analyst Experience to join their team. This role focuses on enhancing the Elastic Security solution, which helps teams protect, investigate, and respond to threats. The successful candidate will work on improving the user experience and workflows for security analysts, addressing challenges such as data collection, aggregation, visualization, and anomaly detection.

The role involves remote collaboration with Elasticians across the USA and Europe, using tools like Zoom, Google Docs, GitHub, and Slack.

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain high-quality Typescript code.
• Develop Kibana plugins.
• Create visualizations and UI workflows for security analytics use cases.
• Develop Node.js background tasks for data searches and manipulations.
• Work on open-source projects to make SIEM technologies accessible to new users.
• Support customers and answer community questions in collaboration with the support team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining sophisticated software projects.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Typescript, React/Angular, and GraphQL.
• Ability to work in a distributed team.
• Interest and experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Kibana/Elasticsearch is a plus.
