Frontend Engineering Team Lead- Hands on at Vim

In this role, the candidate will lead and mentor a team of frontend/full-stack engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support. The team lead also designs and implements scalable, high-performance web applications. He will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to define and execute technical solutions and ensure best practices in code quality.

What this role involves:

• Leading and mentoring a team of frontend/full-stack engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or mentoring developers.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with state management solutions and component-based architectures.
• Experience with testing and monitoring of client applications.
• Understanding of backend technologies and API integration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
