Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) at Getsafe

Getsafe, a digital insurance company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Getsafe's Data Warehouse & BI platform. Role Involves:

• Analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering Data Warehouse solutions in a time-constrained environment.
• Creating ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Airflow.
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Getsafe's Data Warehouse & BI platform.
• Building ad-hoc applications to support data users and provide automation.
• Developing collaborative relationships with business sponsors and cloud resources.
• Communicating technical and business topics effectively through written, verbal, and presentation materials.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in creating data pipelines using SQL / Python / Airflow.
• Experience with designing Data Mart, Data Warehouse, and database objects within relational databases.
• Experience running software in the cloud with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Good problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of distributed computing and database architecture (Nice to have).
